Fascist Italy Issues 'Provisions for Defense of Race in Fascist School'

The Fascist government of Italy issues a new law further curtailing the civil liberties and equality of Jews. Under the "Provisions for the Defense of Race in the Fascist School," Jewish parents are no longer permitted to send their children to either public or private Italian schools.

Furthermore, Jews are not permitted to work for any sort of school, from kindergarten level right up through the universities. Any Jews who already work for any educational institutions are required to resign by October 6.

This decree affects all schools which offer any sort of diploma or certification which is recognized by the national government.
