The American Family Association ends its boycott of the Walt Disney Company for treating gays like equal human beings — specifically, by giving benefits to same-sex employees in domestic partnerships.

According to the AFA, Disney CEO Michael Eisner"was involved in a media group that actively promoted the homosexual agenda" and was pushing the"gay agenda."

The AFA boycott began in 1996 and over the nine years that the boycott was in effect, absolutely nothing detrimental to the Walt Disney Company happened. The Walt Disney Company didn't make any changes in its policies; the American Family Association simply gave up trying to change them.

They don't admit failure, however. Tim Wildmon says"We feel after nine years of boycotting Disney we have made our point." And that point is that the American Family Association is weak and toothless.
