Eli Wiesel Arrives With Family at Auschwitz

Elie Wiesel arrives with his family in Auschwitz. His mother and youngest sister are immediately sent to to the gas chamber.

Born in Romania, he and rest of the Jews of his home town of Sighet, now under Hungarian control, have been transported to the Auschwitz extermination camp. Almost all are killed.
