Charles Lindbergh gives a radio speech promoting neutrality and opposing America entering the war in Europe, blaming an unidentified cabal for trying to get America into the war.
According to Lindbergh:
"The only reason we are in danger of becoming involved in this war is because there are powerful elements in America who desire us to take part.
They represent a small minority of the American people, but they control much of the machinery of influence and propaganda."
This is a veiled reference to Jews, and Lindbergh has long argued that white people in America need to put race first, ideology second.
