Nasjonal Samling (NS, National Gathering, National Unification), Norway's National Socialist party, is created by Minister of Defense Vidkun Quisling and Johan Bernhard Hjort.

Supporters will claim that Nasjonal Samling was founded on May 17, Norway's national holiday, but the truth is that it is founded today. It will never get more than 2.5% of the vote in Norwegian elections, but it does polarize Norwegian politics.
