Erich Neumann is born in Germany. A civil servant and politician, Neumann will join the Nazi Party in 1933 and the SS in 1934.

While serving the Nazi government, Erich Neumann first assists in the mass Aryanization of Jewish businesses, then represents the Ministries of Economy, Labour, Finances, Food, Transportation, and Armaments and Ammunition at the 1942 Wannsee Conference.

Neumann's contribution to the plan to exterminate Europe's Jews will be to request that those necessary for the war effort not be deported too quickly.
