People With Homosexual Leanings Can't Be Priests, Says Vatican

Joaquin Navarro-Valls, Director of the Holy See Press Office (or Vatican Press Office), tells reporters that anyone with gay "inclinations" is unsuited for the priesthood.

Navarro-Valls says:

"People with these inclinations [towards homosexuality] just cannot be ordained. That does not imply a final judgment on people with homosexuality. But you cannot be in this field."
