Konstantin von Neurath, formerly the German Foreign Minister and now the Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia (Böhmen und Mähren), issues a ban on any authorized "Aryanization" of Jewish businesses. "Aryanization" means the transfer of business assets and ownership from Jews (or other non-Aryans) to Aryans.

The purpose of this decree is not to protect Jews in the old Czech Republic, however. It is instead designed to ensure that when Jewish businesses are Aryanized, the ones who benefit are Germans rather than Czechs.
