New York Jewish Paper Reveals Horrific Statistics of Jewish Life in Austria

The New York Jewish Morning Journal reveals some of the horrific statistics which provide a hint of how bad things have gotten for Jews in Austria.

From the Anschluss with Nazi Germany to today, 3,741 Jews have committed suicide, 11,000 have been imprisoned, and 87,000 have left Austria entirely. In addition, 12,000 Jewish apartments in Vienna alone have been abandoned, 7,856 Jewish businesses had been "Aryanized," and 5,122 Jewish business have gone into bankruptcy.
