Heinrich Himmler is appointed head of the Munich police. From this position he is able to begin using the police to further the interests and goals of the Nazi party, like for example having a concentration camp built in Dachau, located near Munich.

During these early days many police officers are happy for the extra support from the Nazi Party and their ruthless policies help to reduce crime. They do not yet realize that the Nazis will be transforming the police forces into a weapon they can use against racial and political opponents.
