Nazi Party headquarters all across Germany are raided by police who are under orders to stop a plot to launch a civil war in Germany. Prussian police also search the homes of many Nazi leaders. The raids are the result of intelligence that the Nazi Party has 500,000 "storm troopers" ready for battle, even including mechanized and motorcycle units.
All of this is true, and what's more the police discover large caches of arms and ammunition in the hands of Nazi Party members.
"Severing knows the seizure of power by the national socialists is only a question of time, but this maneuver will not save his party from coming to ruin."
Karl Severing insists that Adolf Hitler has been planning a march on Berlin:
