Alexander Schmorell & Kurt Huber of White Rose Resistance Movement are Beheaded Hot

Alexander Schmorell and Kurt Huber, members of the White Rose resistance movement, are beheaded with a guillotine by the Nazi government.

An Eastern Orthodox Christian, Schmorell is bilingual and considers himself both Russian and German. He served in the Wehrmacht and studied medicine in Hamburg where he met Hans Scholl, with whom he created the first four of the White Rose leaflets.

Kurt Huber is a professor at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Both Swiss and German, he joined with some of his students in creating the White Rose resistance group.
