Justice Minister Wilhelm Crohne Advocates Racial Segregation in Prisons

Nuremberg Race Laws Chart
Source: Wikipedia

Wilhelm Crohne of the Reich Ministry of Justice instructs prisons to segregate prisoners of "vastly different kinds of blood." This measure applies to situations such as work gangs, eating areas, and cell accommodations and is aimed specifically at Jewish prisoners in order to segregate them from Aryans.

The overall Nazi program of persecuting Jews requires isolating them as much as possible — not just in society generally but even in prisons. Such segregation will make it easier for prison officials to treat Jews differently — which is to say, worse.
