Baldur von Schirach Bans Dual Membership in Hitler Youth & Catholic Youth

Baldur Benedikt von Schirach addresses a crowd in 1940

Baldur Benedikt von Schirach, just a month after being made head of the Hitler Youth, bans simultaneous membership in both the Hitler Youth and any Catholic youth organization.

While Catholic youth organizations are not banned outright, like all secular groups have been, pressure is being put on it to disband. The goal of the Nazi Party is to have exclusive control over all aspects of the life, leisure, and education of young people in Germany.
