Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain successfully end the Reconquista when Muhammad XII (Boabdil to the Spanish) surrenders Granada, the last Moorish territory in Spain.

Moors numbered around 500,000 when the Granada War started in 1482; now at the end of Granada 100,000 are dead or enslaved and 200,000 have fled. Around 200,000 remain and are granted certain rights under Christian rule.
