Jussi Vilkuna, editor-in-chief of Kaltio, a small Finnish culture magazine, is fired for publishing cartoons satirizing the violent responses of Muslims around the world to the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons.

Jussi Vilkuna hasn't published the actual Jyllands-Posten cartoons, but rather new cartoons about the responses. The board of directors demands the images be removed from the magazine's web site and fires Vilkuna for refusing.

Vilkuna responds by saying:

"The task of a culture magazine is to arouse debate on important issues. What a grand way to interpret freedom of speech."
