Pope Pius XII Tells Bishop Clemens von Galen That He Loves All Children of the Church

Pope Pius XII writes to Clemens August Graf von Galen, Catholic Bishop of Münster in Westphalia, that he loves all children of the Church equally, regardless of what side they are on in the current war.

For some reason, this seems to mean that his love of German Catholics prevents him from speaking out in the least critical way when they oppress or kill Polish Catholics.
