Prime Minister Held of the German state of Bavaria lifts a ban on the Nazi Party and its newspaper, the Völkischer Beobachter.

The Nazi Party had been banned across Germany because of Hitler's failed Beer Hall Putsch. Nazis who weren't jailed were able to continue political operations under the name "German Party" (Deutsche Partei or DP) over the previous two years.
