At the end of a three-day meeting, representatives of Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, and the United Arab Republic "affirm anew their determination to liberate violated Arab territory" from Israel. One of the most contentious issues in Israeli-Arab relations has been whether Arab states are even willing to accept the existence of Israel at all.
