Riots in Paris threaten to produce a fascist coup in France. Numerous far-right leagues, all opposed to parliamentary democracy, join forces on this night to attack the National Assembly but Paris police are successful in defending the government.

It's not generally realized just how widespread the support for fascist political ideology is throughout Europe at this time, even in France, but these riots inspire the creation of several anit-fascist parties France.
