Hanns Kerrl, Reich Minister for Church Affairs, announces a ban on pastors in the Protestant Confessional Synod from sending out public communications which have not been approved by Kerrl's office. This follow's Kerrl's ultimatum a few days ago that the synods either submit to his chosen church council or face dissolution.

The Protestant Confessional Synod was created within Germany's Evangelical-Lutheran Church to oppose the influence of Nazi ideology and the power of Nazis within the church.
