The Soviet government, through the official government newspaper Pravda, warns that Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party are planning a massive war that will lead to slaughter across Europe.

Pravada says:

"It is jut a smoke screen for Hitler to spring a new surprise which is demanded by his venturesome program. German Fascism, armed to the teeth, is preparing a new slaughter for Europe."
