Julius Streicher Criticizes Catholic Concept of Mixed Marriages

Julius Streicher gives a speech at the Sportpalast in Berlin in which he criticizes Catholic conceptions of "mixed marriages" and promotes instead Nazi ideas on race.

Streicher says:

"When a Catholic wants to marry a Protestant the bishops talk mixed marriage. But when a Negro with a Catholic certificate of baptism wants to marry a white Catholic woman that is not mixed marriage in the views of the bishops. ...

The time is coming when a Jew with a Catholic certificate of baptism will not be permitted to marry in Germany. Although as yet there is no law to erase race pollution. Thank God we have judges who send men to the penitentiary for defiling the proud German race! ...

In America a Negro is lynched almost every week for attempting to attack a white woman. We in Germany say it serves him right."
