Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche moves the archive of Friedrich Nietzsche's writings from Naumburg to Weimar.

The move is financed by Barbara Margaretha von Salis-Marschlins, better known as Meta von Salis, a philosopher and historian from Switzerland who had been a pen pal of both Friedrich Nietzsche and his sister Elisabeth.

The purpose of the move is apparently to benefit from the overall cultural aura of the city of Weimar, as well as the nearby presence of the Goethe and Schiller archives.
