King Baldwin II of Jerusalem dies and Count Fulk of Anjoy is named his successor. With this, the first generation of Crusaders effectively ends.

Baldwin II was crowned King of Jerusalem in 1118. He provided strong support to the religious military orders, expanded the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem, and held firm against the attacks of Seljuk Turks.
