U.S. troops in Baghdad capture Abu Abbas. Born Muhammad Zaidan, Abu Abbas was founder of the the Palestine Liberation Front (P.L.F.) and leader of the 1985 hijacking of the Achille Lauro.

He will die in U.S custody in less than a year.
