When asked by prosecuting attorney Avner Less about whether he provided the Jews for deportation and execution, Eichmann says:
"Well, yes, that is correct, Captain, in so far as I received the order for evacuation, but not everyone whom I evacuated was killed. I knew nothing about that. I myself did not kill..."
Adolf Eichmann also admits that blind obedience to orders was his purpose in life:
"I blindly obeyed my orders, and in that...I found my fulfillment. If someone had said to me at that time 'your father is a traitor' and I had to kill him, I would have done it."
