Crematorium V of Auschwitz Made Ready, Will Burn Up to 3,000 Bodies in a 24-Hour Period

In the Auschwitz concentration camp, Crematorium V is made ready for use. Like Crematorium IV, it is only constructed to handle 768 bodies per 24-hour period.

Because the the Auschwitz gas chambers are killing too many people, however, the demands placed on the crematoria far exceed specification. Crematorium V will be burning up to 3,000 bodies per 24-hour period.
