President Roosevelt Criticizes Charles Lindbergh

During a White House press conference, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt is critical of Charles Lindbergh's January testimony before Congress against the Lend-Lease Bill and in favor of neutrality with Nazi Germany.

Roosevelt calls Lindbergh a "defeatist and appeaser," an accusation with causes Lindbergh to resign his commission in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
