In anticipation of Adolf Hitler's 50th birthday on April 20, the official publication of the Bavarian Association of Diocesan Priests, Klerusblatt, praises Adolf Hitler's leadership of Germany.

According to the priests:

"The frontiers imposed upon us by the 'hate-peace' of Versailles are broken, the Lebensraum of the German people has been widened. ...

God's holy providence has provided that in a decisive hour [Adolf Hitler] be entrusted with the leadership of the German people."
