The official newspaper of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Germany publishes an article critical of the political claims made by the Catholic Church and in defense of the Nazi regime.

According to the Lutherans:

"The Christian faith is the irreconcilable opponent of Jewry. ...Insofar as National Socialism fights against every claim to political power made by the Catholic Church and makes the National Socialist worldview binding on the German people, for whom is it most appropriate, it [National Socialism] is continuing the work of Martin Luther...and helps us in religious hindsight to come once again to a true understanding of Christian Faith."

The article also states that the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Germany intends to create an Institute for the Study and Eradication of Jewish Influence on the Church Life of the German Volk.
