By the end of April, Ford Germany agrees to manufacture military vehicles for the German High Command. Production runs so high and profits are so good that in September, Ford's American plant will ship large numbers of trucks and parts for assembly in their Cologne plant and thereafter delivery to the German military.

Ford's German subsidiary would earn an average of 1.5 million Reichsmarks every year until the end of the war supplying military equipment to the Nazis.
