People throughout Germany voting in new Reichstag elections decide whether Austria should be incorporated into Germany. The ballot which people are given reads "Do you pledge yourself to our Führer Adolf Hitler and therewith to the reunification of Austria with the German Reich carried out on March 13?"
The Passauer Bistumsblatt, official newspaper of the Passau diocese, supports this plebiscite by declaring that
"it corresponds to the natural order set by God if...men speaking the same language and of common blood and ancestry are joined in a great Reich of the Germans."
These Germans vote 99.08% in favor of this, the last plebiscite and last election in Nazi Germany.
