The Assemblies of God denomination is founded during an 11-day constitutional convention in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Around 300 preachers and laymen from 20 states and several foreign countries are in attendance.

The Assemblies of God will become the largest Pentecostal denomination in the wrold.
